Little Learners is our FREE exploration-based program that you and your children will love!

At Northern, we know that building strong partnerships with families in our community ensures a positive beginning for children in life, school and learning. Little Learners ensures your child has a safe space to experience meaningful and enjoyable social and developmental learning opportunities with other children ranging from birth to 5 years of age.

Held on Fridays from 9.00am to 11.00am during school terms, sessions are conducted in our Kinder Precinct, which includes a nature-based playground, amenities, and even the opportunity for parents to enjoy a hot drink. Each weekly session has a theme with craft activities, singing and story time and allows for free play. Activities are designed to engage your child in new experiences that develop their sensory, motor, social and communication skills. 

Parents benefit from the connections made within the community too! Starting Kindergarten can be a scary experience for both the child and the parents, so the chance to ask lots of questions, as well as having access to an experienced facilitator, can often make the transition to Kindergarten more enjoyable.
